近期，mangos开源项目的官方网站一直打不开
getmangos.com。官方公告说是网站数据丢失，可能会永久的关闭。
很遗憾，我们将失去一个很好的魔兽世界模拟器开源项目。
Mangos它是一个开源的自由软件项目，是用c++和C#编程语言，实现的一个支持大型多人在线角色扮演游戏服务器的程序框架，在这个框架下，它理论上应该支持任何客户端的网络游戏，由于现在很多人使用魔兽世界来对它进行测试，所以针对魔兽世界的脚本和数据库文件比较完善，很多人就利用这个开源项目来实现。

To bring all this to an end, thanks to the recent attack on getmangos.com the site will not be returning anymore. This time definitely.
What happened? The last hours an increasing number of bots flooded the hosting site, and roughly an hour ago, the attack reached a scale where media temple decided to pull the plug for the full grid system.
As a consequence, not only the account where getmangos.com was hosted in has been cancelled, but also a horribly sized bill plus the cancellation of the hosting contract has reached my inbox.
This means effectivly:
the getmangos.com data is lost. media temple was wiped the account data 10 minutes ago, and this includes both the forum archive database, the new forum database, and our old Wiki database.
As some may have seen I just had made the forum archive accessible again due to the request, but effectively this is now impossible. I never kept a local backup for the forum archives since media temple did that on a daily basis. With the loss of the contract all that is lost now, too.
A lokal backup of the new forums existed, since I was preparing to hand over the data to Antz, but that is all which remains.
Anyway, enjoy your time at cmangos, I am sure they will continue mangos the way the want.

这些档案都被julius.kivimaki@gmail.com 这个人修改项目网站为cmangos.net (原来这些项目的官方网站都是getmangos.com)，同时mangos最后主要开发人员Salja也在github上消失。
究竟怎样，众说纷纭，目前都只是猜测。我们希望mangos能回来，能继续往日的辉煌。
